SAFF Training Mission   

The mission of Sights Aligned For Freedom LLC is to be a leader in firearms education by teaching students the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude that is essential in safely and efficiently using a gun for protection of the innocent, and to provide information on the law-abiding American citizens' right to protect themselves. Training is conducted in an exciting, non-intimidating environment.

You will learn to be aware of the Situation, plan your Strategy, implement your Tactics which will be honed by your tranining in various Techniques. Your responsibility is to carry your gun with confidence, to be well trained in your ability to operate it, and be ready to use your gun to prevent or end violence. You never know when your "fight" will happen or the nature of that "fight. You must be ready all the time.

It is the right and duty for every American citizen to protect themselves and the innocent in the face of 'immediate and otherwise unavoidable threat of great bodily harm or death".  Even the Dalai Lama said "But if someone has a gun and is trying to kill you, it would be reasonable to shoot back with your own gun".  According to the FBI, states with "shall issue" right-to-carry laws have 26 percent lower total violent crime, a 20 percent lower homicide rate, a 39 percent lower robbery rate and a 22 percent lower aggravated assault rate then those states that do not allow their citizens to legally carry guns.

Convicted felons reveal in surveys that they are more afraid of armed citizens than thay are of the police. Armed citizens kill two times the number of criminals then police kill each year. Only two percent of civilian shootings involve an innocent person mistakenly identified as a criminal, whereas teh error rate for the police more than five times higher.

Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida State University, Gary Kleck, in Point Blank: Guns and Violence in America (Aldine de Gruyter Publishers, 1991) pointed out that "robbery and assault victims who used a gun to resist were less likely to be attacked or to suffer an injury than those who used any other methods of self-protection or those who did not resist at all".
